How do you let employees know they are valued?
Telling it like it is is what most of you seem to be doing for employees who are doing a good job.
Verbal recognition is the favored method of rewarding employees who are performing well—nearly 70 percent of you use it. Public recognition was a distant second with 13 percent, followed by bonuses with eight percent. Promotions and prizes were the least-used methods of recognition with five percent and two percent respectively.
